Most of what you type into Cursor is explaining: what's wrong, what you want instead, where. That's exactly what's faster to say than to type. Blurty puts your words into Cursor's chat, composer or any file, cleaned up, in the shape of a prompt.
How it works
- Click where you'd type, hold the key, talk. Blurty types the result into Cursor like you did, so it works in the chat, the composer, the inline edit box and the editor itself.
- Prompt mode is made for this: the request comes first, the details become a short list, filler words are gone, and the names you said (
UserCard.tsx, handleSubmit) get backticks. Blurty never adds or answers anything; it only tidies what you said. - Dictate mode writes what you said as you said it, for comments, commit messages and messages to teammates. Clean fixes punctuation and drops the ums.
- Your Dictionary teaches it your project's names once, so they come out spelled right every time.
Private by default
Speech is transcribed on your Mac and the audio is thrown away. Your code and your words never leave your computer unless you send them somewhere yourself.
