October 13, 2026 · Version 0.4.0
Claude sees what you point at
- Show & tell lets Claude see what you point at as you go: a soft glow round the screen, your words beside the thing as you say them, and a pin on each thing showing how Claude is getting on.
- When Claude changes something, its old look fades into the new one right where it sits. Point at its pin to compare.
- Claude's questions appear on the pin with answers to click, and anything else it changed lights up for a moment.
- Point by voice, “make this like that”, “let me drive” to turn a walkthrough into a test, and a bug report in one take.
- On your own dev site, pointing at something tells Claude which code it is.
- One click copies a command, a path or a code block in the Claude panel.
- A new install window, and a welcome that matches this site and picks up where it left off.
- Pro is $5.99 a month, or $3.99 a month billed $47.99 a year.
October 12, 2026 · Version 0.3.1
Your words as you speak
- Prompt mode writes a short brief of what you want, keeps your words as you said them, and asks Claude to plan it out and ask about anything you left open.
- Write as you speak now writes while you talk: your words appear every few seconds, instead of all at once when you let go.
- With clean-up on, your words go in as soon as you let go, and the tidied version replaces them a moment later.
- Cleaned-up words keep the space and the lower case after the text before your cursor.
October 11, 2026 · Version 0.3.0
A new welcome
- A fresh welcome walks you through setup, your talk key and Show & tell.
- Replay it any time from the menu-bar icon.
October 11, 2026 · Version 0.2.9
Sends that land, Esc to stop
- Messages from the Chats panel to the Claude app now land, even right after Stop. If one ever doesn't, it says so in a line, with Try again.
- Press Esc in a Chats panel pane to stop Claude.
- Show & tell picks out buttons in web apps, and Done takes the first click.
- Pro is now $7 a month, or $48 a year (students 35% off).
October 9, 2026 · Version 0.2.8
Write as you speak, everywhere
- Write as you speak (Settings › Advanced) now works in the Claude app, Slack and browsers, and turns on straight away.
- Codex's voice pill wave is blue, and smaller fixes.
October 9, 2026 · Version 0.2.7
Lighter, and files in your chats
- Blurty uses far less of your Mac while Claude works, and your words land in the Claude app even when it's busy.
- Drop screenshots (straight from the corner thumbnail) and any file into a chat in the Chats panel.
- On the Dictation page, pick a mode to see your last dictation rewritten that way.
- The side tab opens on the first click and tucks away smoothly.
October 8, 2026 · Version 0.2.6
Codex and the Chats panel
- Blurty is a third of the size: it fetches its speech model once, the first time it opens.
- Codex works alongside Claude: send it your words and Show & tell walkthroughs, and answer its questions by voice.
- The Chats panel keeps up to three Claude and Codex chats on the edge of your screen.
- Show & tell clips: Shift-drag a box to record what it does, so Claude can watch it.
October 5, 2026 · Version 0.2.5
Updates that install
- Restart to update works again. Before, it did nothing, and the voice pill and Claude panel could vanish until Blurty reopened them.
October 5, 2026 · Version 0.2.4
Sealed and checked
- Blurty's code is now sealed and checked every time it starts, so nothing can change it after you install.
October 4, 2026 · Version 0.2.3
A smoother Claude panel
- The Claude panel grows smoothly out of its tab, switches chats at once and opens faster. Pick how it opens in Settings › Claude.
- Answer Claude's multiple-choice questions and stop a chat right from the panel.
- Show & tell: walkthroughs go to the chat you pick, removed steps come back with ⌘Z, and results show each step's outcome with a before/after wipe.
- Dictation knows Blurty's own names (Claude, Claude Code, Show and tell) and has a new Language setting.
- The voice pill and Claude popup show over full-screen apps, the first run has a fresh look, and security updates.
October 3, 2026 · Version 0.2.2
Claude, in its own colours
- Claude now wears its own logo across Blurty, with Anthropic's permission: in Settings, the Claude connected pill, History tags and the Claude panel.
- In the Claude panel, Claude Code chats in Terminal show Claude Code's mascot, and Claude app chats show the Claude logo.
- The Send to Claude popup's logo moves while your message is on its way, and the Voice pill settings show your wallpaper straight away.
October 2, 2026 · Version 0.2.1
A fresh new look
- A new look: the wave-and-dot logo, a waveform mic button, and what you said next to what Blurty typed for every dictation.
- New Settings › Voice pill: pick its style, wave colour and size, and drag it anywhere on your screen.
- The menu-bar popover is now frosted glass, and the Claude panel opens smoothly every time.
- The Send to Claude popup no longer takes over Enter and Escape in other apps: they act on the popup only once you click it.
- Typing in the Claude panel right after a Show & tell works again.
October 1, 2026 · Version 0.2.0
